    Inauguration Purple Tickets Security Issues

This video shows the horrendous line for the “purple” swearing in ticketed section which ran from 1st and D through the tunnel all the way to the other side of the mall.

Our party had "purple" tickets to the swearing in, but for some unknown reason the gate was closed and no one was being let in. A volunteer directed us to stand in a line, that went well under the mall and did not move much at all other than simply contracting. Many in the line had been there since 6am and 7am and after seeing the line’s length and seeing no one being let in at all, we knew we would not be getting in. So we attempted to then move down to the parade route to claim our parade seats, which we were able to purchase online during the public on sale. But no such luck, check out the videos on that as well as the gate at 7th was in gridlock.
