    Oscar's Big Waste of Time

I think the "Oscar's" collectively has lost any charm it used to have, these days actors use this moment of additional limelight to make political speeches or condemn political leaders, that sickens me.  I really dislike it and their "holier than thou attitude", I don't watch them anymore for those reasons. I could care less who wins or who is nominated, it means zero to me. I like movies for the entertainment value it provides but that is it.

People that follow certain so called "stars" amaze me too, I wonder what it is like to have so much time on your hands to waste on nothing or to try and live though the exploits of someone else. I guess I am just fed up with the whole Hollywood scene and its actors, it's a job, nothing more. Yes it might pay well but for me, I'll take real people with real life's making a different to society, doctors, medic, cops, military and many, many more. Movies are fun but have no lasting value to life, a "pause" in your life that soon passes.

Hollywood and the Oscars, I could care less, so full of themselves, it sickens me to think of them and this night, too much hype, too much attention given to them, many were lucky to finish high school, bunch of clowns in my book...sorry, I find the whole event useless and self serving.
