"The first one I killed was a 19 year old captive..."
Cypriots and Greeks are furious with turkish actor Attila Olgac who cynically admitted on turkish TV that during the war in 1974, while serving the army, he executed 10 people, the first one being a 19 year old unarmed captive.
Olgac says that his commanding officer ordered him to kill the boy and states: "when I held out the gun, he spat on my face. Then i shot him in the forehead." After being asked if the boy was armed, he replied "no, his hands were tied; he was a prisoner."
The Turkish actor, shocked by the reactions and rage he caused to the Cypriots and the Greeks, refused to speak to reporters and tried to disprove all that he said, even though some believe that he never even fired a gun and that he made this story up.
