News Stories that Gives Us a Sense of Relief
It doesn't happen as often as most would like, but at times the headline report victories and accomplishments which make a BIG impact. The Interpol: Suspect pedophile detained by police (http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe/05/08/interpol.pedophile.ap/index.html) is a BIG one!! THEY GOT HIM!!! Now, he can't hurt anymore children. It reasonable to suspect the process of getting a suspects photo released to the public is not easy. Therefore, the due diligence and perseverance of the people who do this exhausing investigative work must be applauded. They got this guy and that's a victory in itself, but the real accomplishment is the fact process worked and it's another way to get another pedophile off the street...one at a time. To me, a mother of two, that's a relief.
