Live interview via Seoulpodcast Sunday Feb 1 at 4pm Korea Standard Time. (http://www.seoulpodcast.com) look for the live chat to ask questions or participate in the discussion. Stephannie White will update information about her son Mike's case. Mike was found at 11:02 floating face down in a 15 inch 40 cm deep pool at a crowded sauna. EMTs were called at 11:28. Mike had lived in Korea since Aug. 2004 in Cheonan & Chungju before moving to Gyeongsan. He had only been there 2.5 months, barely time to settle into the neighborhood. Police originally insisted that Mike died of heart failure and drowning was secondary cause of death. Six months later, an article in the Korea Times reveals the police have changed their determination of the case to drowning under suspicious circumstances. http://koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/nation/2009/01/117_37252.html In addition, vital information for all foreigners concerning rights and obligations in emergencies and in dealing with the police as a victim. There are critical pieces of information all expats should be aware of when making the decision to accept an invitation to teach/work/marry into Korea. It is hoped that Stephannie will be joined by Diane Bower (Sister to David Bower) and Lee Ellen Ramsey (Sister to Matt Sellers). David Bower "jumped off the Han River Bridge in a suicide" and Matt Sellers died in police custody. Both sisters are coming forward to show what is beginnning to appear to be systematic cover-ups in the deaths of foreigners. Also more questions surrounding the mystery of American "T" found dead in his apt June 20, 2008. click on http://www.seoulpodcast.com Sunday Feb 1st at 4pm, look for link to live chat to participate in the discussion or ask questions
