So we were one of the first ones to receive our stimulus checks.  We had direct deposit and got it last Friday at 8:00AM.  Way for them to tell us that we will receive by May 2nd "at the latest" and lo and behold it shows up on May 2nd.  The last two digits of the head of households SS# is -03, uh, I'm pretty sure that means we get it first fools. 

So, what did we spend it on?  Well first, we got $2400 (is this too much information?), so $1000 of it is now our "buffer" so we are one of those damn fools who are "saving" our money.  Even though we aren't saving it, we're just making sure we don't get into the negative, cause as a family of 6 on a single income that happens.

We did go shopping, grocery shopping.  We did pay bills, but luckily we didn't have a lot of credit card debt anymore.  We've considered putting money toward our boat loan or our van loan but it won't pay it off and they are both at 0% so....it doesn't go toward that.  We didn't do what I think the point of the stimulus checks are.  We didn't go on a shopping spree, we aren't putting it toward any down payments on anything, we're pretty much just doing everyday living with money in our pocket...that's odd.
