Back To Basics
President Obama (isn't that music to your ears..)anyway President Obama should do exactly what he is doing right now. Going back to the basics. Albeit our government's actions are supposed to be driven by the needs of the people, the country, as framed by the Constitution, more often than not in recent history, that philosophy appeared questionable.
That is why it is the proverbial breath of fresh air that President Obama is looking at what others have set aside, minutia to some, and has already acted on it. The totality of concerns in our country must be viewed through a wide lense, and nothing should be deemed as unworthy of analysis. That is why I am pleased with the direction already being taken. From Gitmo to the plight of one woman's fight for pay-equity in the workplace (Ledbetter Act). Our president is already proving that what he should do first should never be too small to do last.
Congratulations Mr. President!
