Plenty of Money at the Obama Inauguration

We spoke with a few street vendors in the DC area during Obama's 2009 inauguration.  How has Obama helped the economy?  Even though the stock market was slipping ever further downwards during his inaugural speech, Obama's image and presence alone were enough to stimulate the economy at the grass-roots level.  If his first few hours as president are any indication of what is in store, then perhaps we aren't in as much trouble as wall street would have us think?  I suppose we'll see how it all plays out over the next few years.
