Soft Snowstorm in Northern VA Blankets Roads, Trees, Homes
We had a lovely snowfall last night, with large, wet flakes that covered tree branches and created an enchanting, beautiful picture for us when we awoke this morning. The road to our home is covered and likely won't be plowed for days, but we still have power and don't mind taking a snow day to enjoy time as a family with hot cocoa around the wood fire.
Our chickens peeked tentatively from their hen house, not sure about venturing out in yet another snowy day during their first winter.
We'll be making snowforts later!
