Buddy Holly Blues
I was nine years old in Buddy's hometown of Lubbock when I heard the radio report of his death and was somehow more affected by it than others. In keeping with his tradition, I became a musician and even sat at his desk in homeroom at Lubbock High. Although his candle did not burn long, its light brightened the whole world...
