Destruction of Daidanaw Baha'i Village in Myanmar
The Baha'is of Burma reported that about 100 of their community's homes in Daidanaw village were completely destroyed, all their rice stocks were washed away and that about 20 people were killed with another 20 missing.
The Baha'i Faith believes in the unity of mankind and the unity of all religions and that we are all members of one human family whatever our race, nationality or creed. The world must unite or perish is particularly pertinent in this situation where world unity or lack of it is what is killing the Burmese people not the lack of food and water which is already at the doorstep. Without world unity the lives of millions of Burmese are in danger.
