    National Wear Red Day

    Nita

I have had 2 heart attacks and feel very lucky, I am a 64 year old and a very young 64, I have a boyfriend who is 52 yrs. old and we go dancing once or twice a month, we walk and watch our diets. And yes I am wearing red today.

I had my first heart attack when I was 34,

very scary, the second when I was 57 and had stints put in with both of them, the first one, I had no idea what was happening, but, beleive me, I knew what was happening that time, and last year, I got a scare, I was working in the yard, putting up a new fence and had to quit because I started having chest pains (angina), so after the second nitro, I was on my way to the hospital, lucky again, I was on the verge of a heat stroke and the dr. said that when you have heart problems, you cannot work in the heat for long periods of time, because, it is not good for your system. I also had a radical mastectomy when I was 49, cancer, so I support the cancer society also, I try to attend several of the "walk for life" they have every year, and if you have ever lost anyone to cancer, it is a very heart moving day.

I guess that is about it, I hope the picture goes through, it is one that was made about a month ago.
