When was the last time you looked at the label of what you were buying to find out where it was made?  When you go to spend your next economic stimulus check, look carefully.  Please use the money to stimulate America's economy.  If you put a down-payment on a car, please make sure it was made in America (not just assembled here).  Think about what television you are buying.  If you buy groceries, try to keep the source as close as possible to home.

The retailer does provide jobs.  The distributor also employs people.  If you buy something that was made in America, you will help support more Americans, though.  We have, in the past few years, sent a lot of our money out of the country by buying from retailers who source many of their products in Asia.  As a result, we are in a bind economically. 

Before the stimulus checks are distributed, look at the labels when you shop next time.   If you shop at Walmart, you will see a lot of things that were made outside the U.S.  If you go to K-Mart, you will find more American made merchandise.  Think about this any time you buy something.  For a little more money, you can help keep Americans from being unemployed and reduce your burden to our tax system by keeping them employed.
