The first one was about replacing income tax with spending tax. Obviously the plan needs a lot of work, but the idea is bone head simple.

Why has it taken 3 months to figure out if Al Franken will sit in the US senate? I thought the Florida hanging chads would have sent a message that current voting systems do not work and recounting is a huge waste of resources.

The entire system of how people vote is a joke. And not just because Al Franken is a joke.

We have more than enough technology to implement a secure and fool-proof online voting system for national and state wide elections.

We can issue fool-proof, tamper proof voting cards for registered voters. The smart cards could cost $20-$50 depending on the technology to be used. There are many ways to guarantee a person and an ID are a match.

The ID card could be used for other topics as well. We have useless drivers licences, easily duplicated. We carry a lot of plastic - all could be replaced by one smart and secure card. Medical information could be stored on the card or could be used to access complete medical records. Endless uses to simplify life and prevent identity theft.

CHANGE the way we vote so that voting is secure and every vote is counted immediately. You have less than 2 years until mid-term elections.

We can create jobs to implement this system, and we can sell the technology to other countries.
