Wedding jitters |
Cutting Costs
One thing I enjoy about a recession is that everyone seems to be in the same predicament. Everyone has to make sacrifices. Getting married during a recession means everyone is hungry for the business. We’ve been cutting costs by negotiating and price shopping. We are still cutting our budget close, but at least we’ve gotten deals you wouldn’t have heard of any other time. We've gotten our reception venue for free, dinner half off, dj half off, rings 2/3rds off, etc. We’ve also cut costs by doing everything ourselves. A wedding planner doesn’t know us, why would they be able to plan our perfect wedding? Congrats to you other 09 weddings. Good luck to everyone.
