Fire starts at CCTV Tower in Beijing
We were on the streets around the CCTV in Beijing watching an amazing firework display. The whole sky was lit up as thousands of people watched. Traffic was almost at a standstill as cars had parked on the both sides of the road. At around 8.30pm my girlfriend saw smoke coming from the top of the hotel building. She started screaming there's a fire and then she called the police. We guess it must of been a stray firework or spark that had ignited the roof of the hotel. We then watched as the smoke became a glow and then turned into an inferno.
