Change of Plans
My fiance and I had big dreams for our wedding day. When we realized the cost of having a wedding in the area, we started to see where we could cut back on expenses. We chose the least expensive reception site we could find with great food. Luckily, the site has a great atmosphere so we could cut back on decorations. We asked a family member to do all the flower arrangements. I chose an elegant, but less expensive wedding dress. We've done our homework before making any decision to make sure we have the best possible deal. Our invitations are much more plain that we originally wanted because they are cheaper and use less postage. Now, we are in the process of looking at our finances to determine if we will be able to take a honeymoon. We may end up just having a few days in a neighboring town. We definitely want our day to be special and memorable. The plans are coming along nicely at a reduced cost from our original estimate. We just hope there are no unexpected costs along the way.
