Thin Mints and office politics |
Want Somoa?
I don't really see the issue in placing a sheet in a breakroom. I sold Girl Scout cookies for nearly 10 years, every year having my dad put the sheet in his factory breakroom. While placing the sheet in the lunch room got some sales, I did most of my selling to family and going door to door. I don't think that the parents should do all the selling (although they should be greatly involved, there is a safety issue) but what's the real harm in marketing to an audience that may or may not have exposure to the cookies. The sheet's there, you don't have to buy them if you have an issue with it. There are bigger problems in the world than those girls in vests.
