DISTURBING: Census moved to White House

Alarm Over Obama Decision to Move Census to White House. Now worry about your vote! This is a purely partisan move and potentially dangerous to congressional redistricting around the country. ABC This is nothing more than a political land grab. It takes something that is supposedly apolitical like the census, and gives it to a guy who is infamously political. ABC It is hard to believe the Obama administration felt the need to place re-evaluation of the inner workings of the census so high on his to-do list, just three weeks into his presidency. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/first100days/2009/02/09/gop-sounds-alarm-obama-decision-census-white-house/

    ?

The decision was made last week after California Rep. Barbara Lee, chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, and Hispanic groups complained to the White House that Judd Gregg, the Republican senator from New Hampshire slated to head Commerce, couldn't be trusted to conduct a complete Census. The National Association of Latino Officials said it had "serious questions about his willingness to ensure that the 2010 Census produces the most accurate possible count." Was the appointment of a GOP member to head Commerce done just so that Obama could do this?? The Census is mandated by the Constitution. But evidently this process can be left in the hands of the President. Can he be trusted? WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS???

    ?

I don't like it at all. I am questioning the whole thing.
