    Time to legalize pot?

    More from RayORL

    Time to legalize pot?

Congressman Barney Frank's ideal (too bad Congress did not pass it) will solve many of our fiscal and overcrowding problems within our jails. The only agencies against this would be Local, State and Federal that receive funds for that so called "War on Drugs", they can still get funding. But once and for all they would be forced to go after the hard drugs like cocaine, meth and heroin. Pot is such an easy bust for Law Enforcement and they spend way too much time on it due to its ease when there are hard drugs out there they can't seem to get a grip on. It would actually make our Law Enforcement officers do their real jobs instead of going after the easy bust.

Second our government could stop wasting my tax dollars on propaganda ads on TV showing the effects of marijuana when they DO NOT have a clue what it actually does. They show young kids on TV smoking pot and finding dads gun in the desk drawer and shooting a friend, this has NEVER happened. They show kids in a car at a burger shop running over someone in the cross walk, this has never happened. Prove me wrong and I'll prove that some other drug like Alcohol or worse was the real culprit, pot by it self doesn't cause you to do these things.

When Ronald Regan started this War on Drugs, the American public has been bombarded with pure propaganda advertising for more than 20 years now to sway our thoughts basically brain washing us and it still continues to this very day. And then there are those countries down south that would lose funding or be forced yet again to do the real job of stopping the hard drugs that are killing our society.

Our President Obama knows the effects of Marijuana; Former President Bill Clinton knows the effects as well as Governor Bill Richardson. Make Marijuana legal, tax it and release all of the non-violent victims in our jails and go after the real BAD drugs.

And for those MEN worring about Testicular cancer and Marijuana use..my thoughts on this press release are...

I'm sorry but this is pure BULL CRAP and propaganda! If there is any cancer from pot it came from those chemicals the government sprayed (Paraquat) back in the 70's & 80's to kill pot fields and apparently your idiot test subjects smoked it like so many others did. So those test subjects bought tainted marijuana or who knows what drug it was laced or sprayed with and because your test can not establish a certain genius of marijuana was pure and not contaminated or even if it has any cancer causing agent in it.

You are pandering for more of those funds from our government on the "War on Drugs"...please.

This is all about to CHANGE, yes we can. Marijuana should be made legal, sold and taxed.
