    4532

The number 4532 is displayed on the screen as I open the file named Niya. It is short for Chaniya. The 4532 is the number of e-mails I have sent and received from Chaniya, my wife. That is how we met you see, by e-mail. Chaniya is from Thailand and I, at the time lived in the Northwest corner of Montana. It all started with me deciding that I really did not want to go through life by myself after my divorce was final. I found myself on a free web site featuring women from Thailand. Sounded interesting enough for me to post a profile. I also took the time to send a few notes to some of the woman featured there. It was a strange feeling and not of my nature. One young lady that I wrote to responded with this note dated September 9, 2005:

    Hello Randy,

my name is Chaniya. You can call me niya.

I'm from the north east of Thailand but now working in

Bangkok. I'm 29 years old, dark brown eyes and hair

with 157 cm and 55 kg.

    Well, I don't think we've known before and I

don't know where you found my email. Anyway, I'm happy

to hear from you. I'm sending you my photo. Please

tell me more about you. I'm waiting for your response.

After two trips to Thailand I knew that I had found a great partner and we were married on November 27 th 2007. We now reside in Vancouver WA and  I am sure that we will live happily ever after.
