    Edinburgh in August 2008

    I visited Edinburgh, Scotland (UK) in Aug 2008, with my husband ... the fringe festival was on at the time. The sheer beauty of the city, along with the lovely tour of the highlands just took our breath away.Ben Nevis, Loch Ness and Inverness were out of this world. And the festive atmosphere at Edinburgh during this time was electric. The city is such a treat to visit with its amazing architecture, a mix of ancient and modern. All in all a great place to visit, but please visit before the winter sets in as the place was extremely windy and chilly in Aug. It was a memorable journey.
