'Staycation' all you've ever wanted? |
Our Staycation in Lafitte, LA
We live in the metro New Orleans area, less than an hour away from our favorite restaurant and B&B: Victoria Inn and Gardens. When we need a break, we enjoy staying there, bringing our own boat, and of course eating the most fabulous food! We were so upset that it was destroyed during Hurricane Rita (yes, they survived Katrina but the tidal surge from Rita cause major damage) but they are back in full force and this unexpected jewel in the swamp is our favorite place for a few days vacation. Beautiful surroundings, excellent cuisine, friendly people, and just a short drive with gas prices so high--what more can you want?
