I had just graduated from college, and was getting ready to attend graduate

school for a PhD in Chemistry.  That summer, before starting grad school,

I was emailed randomly by someone I never knew.  He extended his time, resources,

and expertise to me as an older graduate student, since we were only two of a

handful of minorities in the Chemistry department where we are currently

studying.

We made plans twice to meet up when I visited grad school to secure my

apartment among other things, but both times I blew him off.

When I finally made my move in early fall, my old roommate and I made plans

to go out with my now fiancé. 

When I first saw him, I immediately fell in love with him.  He

absolutely took my breath away.  I knew he was the one.

It's been three years, and we have been inseparable.  He's my best

friend, confidant, love, seeker in the Lord; he's my everything.  And now

we have a beautiful baby boy who is a perfect extension of him.

My life couldn't be more wonderful and blessed!!!
