This iReport is part of an assignment:
Growing pains for Twitter, Facebook? |
Who is at your keyboard?
Sorry to answer questions about online sharing with yet another question.
It's not difficult to determine what to share and what not to share, at least it isn't for grown-ups. (I assume we're all grown-ups on this thread.)
I facebook, but not like some of my "friends" do. If something happens that I feel like posting, I write about it and maybe put up a picture. I don't feel the need to subject my online pals to a blow-by-blow account of my next colonoscopy.
Don't post your social security number or copies of your last tax statement. Leave your kids names, address and school schedule off the internet. If you're having an affair, don't post pictures of you and your lover in Vegas, 'cause it won't stay in Vegas.
Common sense.
So, who's at your keyboard right now? I'll bet it's you. Don't hurt yourself.
