Do you wear a religious garment? |
You Be the Judge
Okay, in this story you can be the judge. I will tell you this story and you leave a comment to tell me what you think, simple right?
At a public school near were I live there is a case filed by two muslims who say their rights were infringed on. The two students say they were told to take of their religious head scarves off or leave.
The school sights their dress code rule that doesn't allow any controversial clothing. The two muslims say the school is using the dress code rule that doesn't allow offensive or violent religious clothing.
This seems like a simple case, but it came out yesterday that the two students wore T-shirts to school the day before that red "RIP Israel" They were apparently very angry when they were told to remove their shirts.
What do you think? Did the school act unjustly and infringe on the rights of the two muslims? Did the muslims purposely wear their headbands in protest of the incident the day before? You be the judge.
