Response to the thought that pot would kill the timber industry
In a report I posted about the effects legalizing pot would have on business I was flooded with e-mails from people telling me it would kill the timber industry. Well I've lived in the Northwest all my life and I know this, there are whole towns in my state that no longer can support people due to the closing of the local mill. This has everything to do with exporting the raw material and then importing the finished lumber and nothing to do with cannabis. Still not convinced? Come to the Pacific Northwest I'll take you on a tour.
