This iReport is part of an assignment:
What are you cutting from your budget? |
Cut Backs and the Internet
Cut backs have come in the form of many things. From not eating out nearly as much, to price checking at the grocery store, to no more nail salons or high end hair salons. My husband even had me cut his hair last week ( no worries, he was very pleased!). I now shop for my clothes in my closet instead of at stores, and I stay home much more than I ever have, so gas consumption has gone down as well. We now keep our thermostat lower and use space heaters when necessary to compensate, which has helped decrease our gas bills.
With all the extra time I am now in the house, the internet along with iReports, has been my saving grace. It has offered hours of entertainment (too many some days!). But, what my husband and I have learned from being forced to cut back, is how much less we can get by with and still be comfortable and enjoy life.
