    Tears of Hope!

Many people may have poored out tears when the president was the final candidate and when he took his oath. I did feel an emotional wave, but nothing, nothing like what i felt in this speech. I could not say this live with out getting emotional... so i write:

The military family through out history is the toughest family there is. They are the quickest to break up or the longest to last. You either make the cut or you don't!  Bieng a military wife is a military oath of its own! Bieng the spouse of a military person was an emotional drain, and you have to accept a different reality than most Americans.

Though i have much respect for the soldiers of this war, i have a greater respect for those who have served in the US Armed Forces in its history.  You do not get to speak up all the time, for fear of consiquences... you accept that, and you do the right thing. Not only in this war, have the key disabilities mentioned been a problem. The name has just changed over time... from shell shock to PSD.  Soldiers have been traumatized as bad during the Vietnam war, WWII and Korea.  Thus the same level of respect should spread out through out all generations of those who served. The many people who have served before us and have suffered with little or NO assistance from the US Govt with their disability (s).

So Mr. Pres, though I am so happy that you have given your oath, to FIX and ADD VA systems, should you fail to push this with in your time in office, with out just cause (this recession will def hender that), I will be one of the many who speaks up and protest.

I am so appreciative of the concept and acknowledgement of US Soldiers pay!!!!!! The fact that a contractor can enter a country with out Laws applying and earn over 5 times the amount of a US soldier is disgusting. So i hope there is another speach to identify the withdrawl of ALL Subcontractors unless they accept International law as their policy and have CLOSED ENDED/FIXED COST Contracts. No more paying $700 for a staple.  The raise of military pay will defenitely be an incentive for others to re-enlist and stay in. The respect to their health care while protecting others and once service has been completed (or early seperation due to enjury) is key in the promotion of others telling others to join.

    Last note

Education!! Education!! The GI BILL AND OTHER MILITARY EDUCATION PROGRAMS NEED TO BE RE-EVALUATED as well and increased!  They degrees listed under the GI Bill have not been evaluated since shortly after the Vietnam war. There are degrees today that are not acknowledged by the US GOVT that are definately needed! So if the President is going to look at this, might as well FIX IT!!! Diplomacy, International Relations, and Conflict Resolution should be a RECOGNIZED DEGREE. GI BILL NEEDS TO BE INCREASED!! The cost of College/Universities have increased thus government FUNDS SHOULD INCREASE AS WELL.
