Snow in Daleville, AL
I must apologize for the very poor video. This is from a laptop webcam on it's first use, and I have no experience with either. Hopefully you can see the snow against my jeep. I was unable to capture just how much snow there was for about 10 minutes: Blowing, raging snow, but it died down in about 10 minutes. But we did have snow! We haven't had snow in this part of Alabama since March of 1993.
Daleville is right outside of Ft. Rucker in extreme southeast Alabama. We're about 20 minutes from the Florida panhandle and about 30 minutes from the Georgia border. This was taken in Dale county, AL on 1 March 2009- the 2nd anniversary of the tornadoes which killed some students at enterprise high school 1 March 2007.
