My Own Restaurant in Kuwait
At a time of economical deterioration in the US, I up and packed my bags and came to Kuwait with the intention of starting a new life, and exploring my potential business side. I am a 30 year old female from Los Angles, CA who came to Kuwait and opened up an All American Breakfast restaurant in Fahaheel, Kuwait. With the amount of expats/military in the region, I thought, this is exactly what they need. A "home away from home". It turns out, I'm just as popular with the Kuwaitis and other arab nationalities. The restaurants success has opened up a lot of doors, and has potential for growth. What I am most proud of is showing what young females are capable of doing, especially being in the Middle East. I hope to be able to encourage something positive from this. It's quite a challenge here.
