A Knife and a Lighter
I am a wiccan (lean towards the celtic traditions) dating a good Christian boy who grew up in Virginia. His parents are the sweetest people in the world but they DID NOT want me dating their son in any way shape or form. Even he was scared at first thinking he was losing his relationship with god because he was 'dating a non believer'
This was particularly hard because not long before I started dating him I had been attacked because a few 'friends' had recognized my pentacle. I was camping and we were playing cards together, before I knew it one of them asked if I had a friend who was a witch and I said yes but I am too. Next thing I knew I had a knife a few centimeters from my eye and a lighter not far from my hair with one of them saying all witches should burn.
I love my boyfriend who I have now been with over 4 years and his family means a lot to me as they have come to accept me if not my religion. Its not other religions who are in the wrong, its the extremists who take it too far and show their hate more then the precepts of their faith.
