Welcome the Cleanup Trucks
The branches of the fallen trees, which the residents of our city sawed off and cut up after the ice storm, have been stacked on our curbs for just a little over a month. Today trucks came into the neighborhood and removed the debris from our area of town. Working together, our town as a whole has bounced back rather efficiently from the ice storm.
I would like to simply thank all of the paid workers and the private volunteers who have given their ceaseless time and energy working long hours in the storm's cleanup effort, and also those who donated time, aid and tools to people who needed them. Your kindness is appreciated by many.
