    Obama's cabinet

    Obama: 6 Weeks Later...

There's just too much to really do an evaluation justice. Jackass-In-Cheif Barack Obama is honestly so bad, I can't even keep track of it all. I'll give it a shot...

He's about to sign a $400+ billion bill, packed with 9,000 earmarks...and promotes this bill in the same breath he uses to promise "No earmarks."

He promised a new level of accountability, but has peppered his cabinet with people who are either too crooked or too stupid to even pay their own taxes properly.

A new era of responsibility? That sounds great, if he wasn't hell bent on making the rest of us pay for people who bought homes they couldn't afford.

No more lobbyists. Good stuff! Except the handfuls that saturate his payroll.

Transparency? Pelosi is writing bills in the privacy of her office and posting them less than 48 hours before the votes. Obama promised all spending bills would be posted for 5 days prior to a vote. There's a disconnect here, to say the least. (Fun fact: The $400+ billion bill they're voting on now, is nowhere near the www.recovery.gov website Obama promised would house their spending initiatives.)

      Bipartisanship? In a word: laughable.

How about 95% of us getting tax "cuts"? Do you know your tax rate? Tell me, how much has it gone down? It's not a tax "cut", it's a tax "refund" - and there's a huge difference between them. One is a marginal reduction, the other is a redistribution of wealth. What Obama is delivering, is the latter. Worse yet, he's overtaxing others during a recession in order to make this happen. And how much of that will "95%" of us see (including the 40% or so who don't even pay taxes at all)?

About $13 per week. Yep. There it is America. There's that "tax cut" he promised 57 times in every speech, between teleprompter-free "uhhhh"s and "errrr"s.

      Outstanding. Feeling good yet?

"Yeah but he's pulling out of Iraq and he shut down Gitmo!!" We'll be in Iraq for years, that's how that works. And while we scale back forces and Iraqis and Americans begin getting slaughtered in that region, he's going to swell our military efforts in Afghanistan and Pakistan - oh yeah, all while cutting defense spending. Same goes for Gitmo. Why did you want that shut down so bad? Because of "torture"? The only reason anyone pointed the "torture" finger at the Bush Administration (even though most of you had no clue where that claim came from) is because they used a method that went beyond the 19 that are outlined in the "Army Field Manual On Interrogation." Well guess what little Barry Obama has cooking right now? You guessed it: a task force to help identify means of interrogation beyond the 19 outlined in the "Army Field Manual On Interrogation."

He's making good on at least a few of his campaign promises though. They're doing away with the right to privacy afforded to working Americans by way of "secret ballots" amongst the unions. Sure there isn't even one redeeming reason for this, other than gaining favor with the unions as members and prospective members will now be exposed if they choose to vote against union interests - but come on, it's just the honest Americans who are at risk here. You know it's dirty because they're calling it the "Freedom of Choice Act". You tell me, which garners more freedom in the choices you make:

      a) being able to do so anonymously based on your personal beliefs, or

    b) doing so under the watchful and reactionary scrutiny of others whose beliefs may differ from your own?

That's right....the "Freedom of Choice Act".

Another good promise he's keeping? During a recession, he's going to impose such an overwhelming tax hike on the energy companies...that they'll then pass those costs on to us. This means your electric bills and gas prices will sky rocket. And he knows all about it - having said so, almost verbatim prior to the election. (Another fun fact: Did you know that energy companies take 4% return on every gallon of gasoline pumped, while the government takes 15%?)

Small businesses will suffer. The rich who create private sector growth and jobs will suffer. You and I will suffer. The only people that win, in Obama's plan - are liberals who align themselves with him in Washington.

      Republicans wanted two things:

1). Lower taxes across the board...actual tax CUTS, not "refunds". This means your paycheck gets significantly bigger, companies are able to begin hiring again and investors are able to confidently put their money back in the markets without incurring new, Obama-based penalties for it.

      2). Less wasteful government spending.

Pretty basic stuff. Rudimentary in fact, when looking to responsibly and effectively a) climb out of a recession, and/or b) grow an already thriving economy.

Obama and Pelosi are doing the exact opposite. They're raising taxes absolutely everywhere, and spending more in one term than the collective aggregate of spending in the history of America. And they're telling you, "Well we have to spend if we're going to get out of this." They're lying to you. Which was worse, Bush fear-mongering to protect our nation from future attacks? Or Obama and Pelosi fear-mongering to advance their own agendas at our expense and during a recession.

Nevertheless, it's not working and it's already taking it's toll on little Barack "Barry" Obama Dunham Soetoro Dunham Dunham Soetoro Obama Soetoro Soetoro Soetoro Dunham Obama Obama I.

      He clearly hates his job.

      His job clearly hates him.

He's not cut out for this, at all.

It's amateur hour in the White House.

2012, or at least 2010...can't get here quick enough. Please, take your blinders off America - and do a little research next time. I heard something interesting that I want you to honestly think about as you consider what really works and what doesn't, and as your hearts bleed for socialism under the guise of "change":

If you cut the country in half, and gave conservatives the worst 25 states and liberals the best 25, what do you think would happen? History, our own and others, shows clearly that in 2 years - the conservatives would be THRIVING....while the liberals may already be eating each other.

I'm glad your hearts are so charitable. It doesn't happen in a voting booth though. Please don't let yourselves get duped in to believing otherwise again. Your parents, and their parents, and their parents weren't wrong. You're 30 something years old and still feel the need to rebel? Cool. Grab up "Eazy Does It" next time you're near the mall.
