first i would do
basic economics, the 3 things that spark an economy are interest rates (didnt work), war (didnt work) and innovation and industry.
the first thing i would do would be to legalize industrial hemp to create a new industry. i would tax it and many of our problems would be resolved. there are thousands of uses for it. INCLUDING BIO FUEL!!! also, it grows faster, creates higher yields, uses less pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and is an all around superior product.
george washington had fields of it
the bible states "god put forth plant bearing seed and has ment for man to use it"
and serioulsy, who cares if you smoke pot! yes, some people are potaholics, but their a lesser evil than an alcoholic.
from the comments below i'll admit. i have driven drunk and i have driven high. no one should ever drink and drive.
save the trees! paper, particleboard, plywood.....and did i mention its more durable?
