This iReport is part of an assignment:
Barbie's turning 50 |
I may not be perfect but parts of me are awesome!
Ireporters, I need your help for my next post!
Barbie is 50 today. Some blame her for some of the issues women have with body image, but to be honest women have had body issues for a long time before Barbie came on the scene.
These days it seems harder than ever to be happy with the body we have been given. Many women have got into the habit of only looking at their flaws, and completely ignoring those parts that are simply awesome.
Perhaps it is time for those of us obsessed with our flaws to forget about them and spend more time loving and celebrating those bits of us that are simply gorgeous!
I wanted to do that with this report, but I found that the pictures pulled off the web did not quite paint the picture that I wanted.
So I am asking for your help. I need pictures of those stunning, awesome, gorgeous, alluring perfect, amazing parts of your anatomy that you are willing (and is allowed to be shown on ireport) to share!
Send me the curvy, voluptuous, slim, or petite image of your loved one (with their permission of course ;) I want to have a celebration of beauty on ireports and I want to use real people to do so!
To make this work I will need a couple of things:
1) An ireport with that picture of that wonderful piece of you (or all of you if you are that scrumptious) in a DOWNLOADABLE form
(check "let my media be downloaded by others" just below the tags)
2) permission to use that image in my next report
3) A LINK to that ireport posted here, or in my mailbox so that I can find it.
4) All images posted by this Friday, so I can post the report this weekend.
I would love to do one for both the Guys and the Gals if I get enough pictures to do so!
Once I get all the images I will make them into a movie and post them this weekend. If you wish to have your screenname added to the post, then let me know and I will add it.
Help me replace plastic perfection with real ireporter beauty!
Love yourself more each day!!!!
This report is dedicated to the need to find balance in all things and the one who recently reminded me of this! :)
