Hamilton, Bermuda - 24 hours in paradise

Hamilton is the capital of Bermuda. Went there on a cruise and I had to make the most while I was there. Bermuda has all the tropical beauty that you would see in the Caribbean, without the poverty. Hamilton is called a "city" but it is technically the size of a village and the number of residents is only about 15,000 people. There are many shops and restaurants along Front Street, which faces the harbour. You could spend hours just shopping and haggling with the store owners. Rent a scooter and take a short ride to the beaches. The white sand, friendly people and warm ocean (May to Sept) makes this a destination spot. After a day at the beach, head back to Front Street and visit the Royal Yacht Club and Historical Museum. Take a carriage ride to really enjoy the sights. Late in the day, enjoy outdoor entertainment and a parade. Bermuda has a British influence so enjoy the pubs in the evening.
