The ultimate brown bag |
Red Rose Tea Party
I just bought some tea last week. I had three choices. I chose red rose just on name appeal alone. lol. The box cost my $4.50 for 100 tea bags. That's less than 5 cents each! I like that red rose does not package each teabag seperately. What a waste of trees, Liptons!
If you bring a glass jar to work with you, you can put a tea bag in some water, place it in the sun and brew tea for free! Now that's frugal. We drink peppermint sun tea at my home all summer long. Just put a handful of peppermint in a gallon jar and place in sun. Add a small handful of rosehips for a great shot of vitamin C and nice tangy flavor. Add ice and there is nothing more refreshing on a hot day!
I prefer herbal tea, or green tea myself, but the caffeine has it's purposes when you have a term paper due. Got it done! Yippee!
