    My Best Thrift Store Finds

Growing up in the 60's with 5 children and my parents, one could not help but to become thrifty.  I'm so thrifty I make my own powdered sugar!!

My thrift store finds are or have become my prized possessions and they bring me great joy.  In these tough economic times one cannot pass up a good deal.  I find my treasures in a variety of stores.  I watch for their weekly special shopping days, the 99 cent days, half off days and truly score my best finds on those days.

90% of my closets gear is thrift store and my favorite items to shop for are Tommy Hilfiger clothes.  Love his styles and I could never afford them if there weren't thrift stores.

I am the world's most loyal fan to Kenny Chesney and have found great deals on frames to put my posters in, I purchase them online at his store at discounted prices. I even purchased a life size cardboard cutout of Kenny from craigslist.

My finds that I have made into something new is my guitar that I purchased for 20 bucks, I bought new strings for it and have found learning materials to go along with it so I can teach myself to play.

I found a free pair of Calvin Klein jeans and used my sewing skills to hand sew on letters that represent my Nebraska Cornhuskers football team, I call them my "spirit pants."

I often see segments of people saving such great money at thrift stores and in reality I am the world's best thrift shopper.

Stay tuned for more of my bargains....
