Happy St.Pat's from Two Purring Cats
My art studio is in full production mode today, despite St. Patrick's Day but I'm enjoying the holiday here at my desk with CNN on in the background and memories of the many, many great St. Patrick's Day parades I attended way back when, in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.
Living in Florida now, celebrations are plentiful here, but none compare to my hometown's good times. I remember going with friends to night clubs who had their doors wide open at 8am while waiting for the parade to begin, and seeing a packed house, complete with old Irish ladies slugging down the beer and looking very merry. Being Scotch-Irish, I know how to have fun on St.Pats, but don't drink beer so I had a few Irish coffees, since it was morning. :)
Later, maybe a few friends and I will go to an Irish pub around here someplace. Cheers to all and have a Happy St.Patrick's Day from myself, my studio and Beau, my white cat, who is honorarily Irish today.
