    Your best thrift-store finds

    Magical Mystery Thrift Store Finds

You never know what you are going to find at the thrift store.

I usually beat feet to the book and old record department first thing.

As a devout Beatle fan, I search for their albums and books.

I certainly hit the jackpot today.

I was at Paul McCartney's concert at the MCI Center in Washington DC in 2002, but I did not purchase the T-shirt.

In 2005 I had the privilegeof seeing him again and did get the shirt.

Today I found the 2002 concert t-shirt and two books.

The first book was a vegetarian cookbook written by Paul McCartney's firsrt wife Linda. I was estatic, not only because Linda was vegetarian but because I so admired her for her work with animal welfare.

Linda died in 1998 from breast cancer.

The second book I found  contained all of the Beatles songs as a band and what they were written about. Back in the day everyone just knew there was some hidden message in their songs.

They say no...but I don't know about that.

I paid a buck a piece for the books and 50 cents for the t-shirt.

No trash for me today, all treasure's that will keep me entertained for days to come.
