Doggie Daycare is one of the newest services offered for dogs and their family's that love them. When we spend so much time away from the home at work or at school, there is often no other option but to leave the dog home alone.

Isolation is unnatural for dogs because they are naturally pack animals. Dogs are very social and when not able to interact with other dogs or get enough daily exercise they will become frustrated and bored usually resulting in behavior such as annoying barking, jumping, digging,chewing... Also the emotional stress can build up and more severe issues like aggression, fearfulness and anxiety can surface. These unpleasent behaviors are not easy to live with and in frustration we tend to try and train the dog. Doggie Day Care will help remove the problem naturally by allowing the dogs to socialize and exercise all day.

My husband and I opened our small business last June, 06/08. We have been growing every month since we first opened and we are continuing to do so despite the grim economic state the nation is going through. The clients that bring their dogs here love us and we love them too and all the amazing dogs. Our reputation in our town is growing strong and we are so grateful to be doing work that is so rewarding and helping others with their beloved family pet.

The dogs are our best testimony. They jump out of their cars when they get here and run to the door all excited to get in. Our clients are amazed. We have had several individual stories of dogs with different issues that are moving forward and doing better at home and out in the world.

We do hope that CNN will recognize this small business success story as the breath of fresh air it truly is. Barry and I put every dime we had into this project and went for it. When the economy collapsed there was the temptation to fall into fear, but we chose to just keep going and not allow fear to destroy us from the inside.
