This iReport is part of an assignment:
Your 'victory garden' |
Growing Food Organically Even Without Land
I started a blog last month to support President and First Lady Obama's mission to encourage everyone to eat healthier and do some community service.
http://grow-organic-food.blogspot.com
My blog's goal is to show how anyone can grow some food organically even with little or no land. I'm asking everyone to grow more to share with neighbors this year. I grow sprouts in jars in my kitchen, veggies and herbs on my 5'x10' balcony, and in my box at the community garden. I do things on the cheap, and have $$ tips for livin large in lean times; thrive not just survive, and have fun doing it. And, no chemicals or poisons on the food or in the soil makes it so delicious.
