    About Us

Fulton Kentucky News was started in February 2007, to provide local news coverage for Fulton Kentucky and the surrounding area. Our main focus is local and area news, along with items of interest from a variety of sources.

We update the news as it becomes available. Fulton KY News is online-only, and free to all users. We are a pioneer in the field of online-only, local news services. We were the first "internet only newspaper" in the State of Kentucky. Our tagline is "Your Community News First". This is because we are able to provide news as it happens, and update the news throughout the day. The internet allows us to provide news not only to the local residents, but to former citizens and their families across the country.

We are locally owned, locally focused, and locally generated. We have heard how many are discouraged with the print media, and how the public now demands the news quickly. Although on-line newspapers are a relatively new idea, we believe this is the newspaper for the future.

Our photos and video have been used by both local media and national news, including CNN. The internet allows us to share local news with the community and the world.

I started an online news service for the Fulton Kentucky area in 2007. It has grown from a few thousand views per week to where we are now averaging around 10-15 thousand. I expect a lot of daily newspapers will continue to cease printing because of the current financial crisis.
