The Situation Room: Your political resolutions |
Are you prepared to use military force in Sudan?
Mr. President,
Like many Americans, I am deeply concerned for the people of Sudan and the over one million civilians in Darfur who may very well die under your watch.
As an advocate for peace in this world, it is with a heavy heart that I ask you if you are willing to prepare for a credible range of options for the use of military force to protect civilians and ensure the unobstructed delivery of humanitarian assistance, both as a means to save those now most vulunerable and as a leverage point for peace in Sudan?
