Your cat is NOT trying to kill you

As much as you love your cat, confess at some point or another you might have had the fleeting thought, "I love my cat but I sometimes wonder if it is trying to kill me?"

Well we have been unfair to our furry feline friends as research shows that kitties cause only 11% of pet related injuries (which are only 1% of the total of these types of injuries and in general pets are wonderful for both your physical and mental health)

....... Dog owners on the other hand you may have a little more to worry about (dogs cause 88% of such injuries..... ;)

The CNN article notes that :

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that every year, more than 86,000 fall injuries are caused by pets. Dogs are the biggest culprits, causing 88 percent of the injuries. Cats cause 11.7 percent of the falls, according to the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.
