    GOING GREEN in Highlands County, FL

    Big day for THE HEARTLAND ALPACANACLE CHOIR and its BARNYARD QUARTET as they got a new green trailer to travel to Lakeshore Mall to celebrate EARTH HOUR and GOING GREEN EXPO with area environmentally conscious vendors and consumers.  The alpacas have three 'GONE GREEN' among them and were on local TV humming tunes, being interviewed by WHRT TV owner, George Konstantakis.  The boys choir were the hit of the day long environmental event. The novel idea was to help tune in as many folks as possible about EARTH HOUR...and it drew a crowd of many who did not know about the global movement yet.
