    Different dresses

    I got married relatively late (in my 30s). By that time, I and all of my friends had been in numerous weddings and we were all sick of the bridesmaid dress thing. It also seemed silly to put my lovely, accomplished, talented friends in identical dresses. So I asked each of them to wear a long black dress, any style, any fabric. They each chose something that was perfect for them. They looked spectacular.
