    Being Aware: Beyond Myth

    Forget all the myths and legends you have ever heard about autism. Instead, get to know autistic people! Autistic people are as individual and unique as anyone else, with strengths and talents to share as they face their challenges. This is my son, Joey. Don't dismiss him just because he sees and copes differently than you might do. He brings all sorts of wonder and wonderfulness to our lives.
