April Fools' Day: Office pranks edition

    The Trophy World Tour!

My office had a summer picnic, where employees were divided into teams who played a series of games. A trophy was awarded to the winning team. My team, of course, should have won the trophy, but gross errors
in scorekeeping denied us our just victory.

The trophy apparently agreed, and decided it needed to find more deserving owners.

For the next year, the trophy traveled across the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zeland in search of a new home. This prank, over a year in the making, required the participation of over 60 people around the world, and was kept secret from the entire
company. The prank was called the Trophy World Tour.

The prank was revealed at my company's annual holiday party, and a website was created to house the video documenting the trophy's travels and the prank reveal, as well as a photo gallery containing
over 600 photos of the trophy's travels around the globe.

The tour video itself is included here, a version with the prank actually being revealed at our company party is available on thewebsite set up for the prank, http://www.trophyworldtour.com
